A burning plastic smell from your electrical panel almost always means overheating insulation caused by a loose connection, overloaded circuit, or failing component such as a breaker or busbar. Switch off the main isolator immediately, do not investigate inside the panel yourself, and call a Part P registered electrician as an emergency. This is a serious fire risk.
